this is a beautiful small knife, however I have an older model which have larger scales on the handle which I think makes the older model more attractive. 

While this knife looks just as good as I had hoped it would, there are two issues for me that are really disappointing. The first is the mechanism, it feels gritty and there is a bit more movement when locked up than I would like. The second issue is the grind, on one side it barely reaches half a millimeter up the blade as is super even, but on the other it&#039;s nearly two millimeters up, uneven, and puts the edge off center of the blade. Were this not a damascus blade the uneven grind would not be as big of an issue.
