Guys, I have had my eye on this knife for a few years now.  It was unavailable for a long time and they finally started producing them again.  I wanted this as my gentleman&#039;s/lady&#039;s worship knife and to carry ln special occasions.  Man, I can tell you I am NOT disappointed!  The abalone shimmers so well in the light and the transitions between between the abalone scales and the bolsters is smooth all around.  Surprisingly great job on that considering abalone is such a delicate material.  I can tell already this is a lifetime keeper.  AND, consider the price is only about $73- less than half what you would be paying for a knife this size from Case or any other company.  My only negative is that it didn&#039;t come screamingly sharp, but that is not a big deal.  Overall, 5 stars for sure.  Peace!
