The Attleboro knife is a special tribute to Army Special Forces MSG William B. Hunt and all the military members involved in Operation Attleboro during the Vietnam War. It is designed with a lightweight and slim profile, measuring .150" thick, for comfortable carrying. The steel used is the cutting-edge CPM S35VN, which undergoes cryogenic treatment to maintain flexibility and edge retention.
The knife features a beveled glass breaker at the butt, making it useful for breaking glass or scoring and breaking through polycarbonate safety windows. The spine of the knife has 1.5 inches of jimping, providing a secure grip even with gloves. The drop point blade, with its aggressive styling swedge, is complemented by CNC machined hollow grind and angled serrations on the right side for easy tearing through rope or webbing.
The handle of the Attleboro knife is made of black phenolic laminate and is ergonomically designed to accommodate hands of all sizes. It has a CNC machined texture for maximum grip in wet and dry conditions. The knife is finished with a beautiful Cerakote finish and has a razor-sharp edge that can easily shave hair.
