This is not as heavy as a Buck 110. In fact, when I wear jeans this is not heavy at all. Fit and finish are superb.  The profile is simple and purposeful. This knife inspires confidence.The VG-10 sharpens up beautifully. I have large hands, and this fits me perfectly. The guard and pinky hook lock the knife in without using a choil. This allows more grip options. The action is silky smooth and the lockup is flawless. The blade is perfectly centered when closed. My only quibble is that I am  used to carrying tip down. So I am having to adjust to that.  Otherwise, this is one of the finest production folders on the market.

Proven through its 5 years plus of edc duties. Broke the tip (my fault) and made it a tanto. Even better now. Overall impressed in heavy construction compared to most folders.

This knife is a work of art. Not only is it perfectly finished it performs perfectly as a heavy duty tactical knife. There are no milled out liners here folks this knife weighs more than a Buck 110 for a reason. Any decent kind of effort at opening the knife with the well placed thumbstud sends the glorious thick slab of razor sharp VG10 steel into bank vault like lock up. This knife inspires confidence. There is enough high quality steel in this knife to make 2 Benchmades. Perfect fit and finish.

While I like its looks, mine developed a gritty action over a few weeks of light use and without getting anything in it. It’s still usable but the action makes it less enjoyable to do so.
